Correspondence degree and EP

Hi All,

I am working in one of the best IT compines, i have 6.6 years of exp B1 to USA and German bussiness Visa.

I did all my education starting from 10 to degree in Distance mode. Now i am applying for EP to singapore next week, i am paid 5000$.

Am i elgible ?
Does Distance Education matter?

Yep, sure does. I've lost 4 employees over the past 15 months due to distance degrees. Looks like they are being looked at too kindly now days. But don't let that stop you from trying, the worst they can do is reject you. They don't cane you if you don't qualify. See if you qualify on the eligibility test on the MOM site. Surely, I needn't put the link here as you are an IT guru, you should be able to find it okay.

No no..am not job hopper..not a job seeker..they seek me...and my preferred job as well...lol... :P

My pass has been approved in just one week.. Wow..thats fast...congrats and good luck to me in my career... * pat pat* :P

Congratulations. I like seeing cases like those. They tend to give hope to others who are sweating renewals due to certifications being scrutinized closer. It would appear not all distance degrees are created equal. That's good news.

I did distance education and this is my 4th year in Singapore. I had some problems when my EP was renewed for the 3rd year as it was rejected and had to go for an appeal before getting it renewed
