Good Friday weekend plans

Post by railsgooff » Wed, 20 Apr 2011 10:51 am

Hey all,

Thinking of making a short trip up to Malaysia or somewhere close. Between deal.com and outlet.com there are a slew of travel packages. Groupon at the moment doesn't have any such deals. (I'm obviously a group discount devotee.)

The coach trip to Cameron Highlands from outlet interests me cos I haven't tried before. Though the recent horror stories of buses overturning on the way doesn't fill me with confidence. Konsortium Tours is the name of the coach agency. Anyone tried them?

Other long weekend ideas are welcomed.

Book a flight to the Philippines. Use the Clark Airport in Pampanga. Upon landing, ask around where you can watch someone get crucified. Literally.

yes I used konsortium up to cameron highlands back in nov....
was a 10hr plus journey.
the thing is konsortium takes u up to tuas then u will switch buses to one of their partners and their partners will take u up...it is like they outsource the malaysia part of the journey....I didnt take the bus back just took the bus up so i dont know much about the journey back...
