Mozza Pizzeria at MBS or Pete's Place are still the best in my opinion. Wood-fired, light but hearty... bliss

I really love to eat pizzza but you are right Skinny pizza is the best for me. They are very generous with the toppings which makes the pizzas filling, but yet healthy.
Yes, Its the toppings that make me love the pizza!! Other than that, I cannot think of any reason. Heh

Had a decent pizza last night.

It was from the Pizza place next to L'estaminet (I think they have the same owner) on Greatwood Ave.

Needless to say it was the worst pizza ever. A glorified 12" taco like chip served cold with toppings. For the price charged per person the entire meal was a complete disaster.

The best pizza I have found here (which isn't exactly a ringing endorsement, I've had some truly awful pizza in the last year) was from Sarpino's Pizzeria (pronounced piz-AIR-ee-ah, it took me four calls to figure out that's what the lady said when she answered the phone). Some of the topping combinations are weird, but others are winners and the crust is the good chewy type not this paper thin mush folks seem to rave about here. I know thin crust is common in Rome, but I prefer my pizza American style-a nice balance of toppings and crust that you can pick up with your hands without it falling apart.

Pete's place in the basement of the Hyatt. Its a well established instiuitution here in SG with an impeccable reputaion for authentic Italian cuisine. There's not a bad dish on the menu. Its a delight to the senses. If anyone wants to join me I'm going there tonight. Looking forward to making some new friensds.

I second that. Pete's Place is GREAT. Before 7, u get free bread + make it yourself salad. Get a Hyatt card and you get a discount for all the restuarants in Hyatt. If it's a party of 2, they take 50% off your bill, 33% off for 3 people and so on!

Da Paolo Pizza Bar is great too! Nice, light, fluffy crust with lovely toppings. The consistency of the Mozzarella is to die for... I tried German Pizza recently at Magma on Bukit Pasoh Road... interesting paper-thin crust, with goats cheese and a smattering of leek and smoked salmon. You can have the meat fest one, with smoked meat on it too. It was really sensational.. light but satisfying; comes as a large square pizza, sliced into smaller squares, which makes it ideal for sharing! Highly recommended with German wines to pair with too! :D

Pizza Capers is awesome for their eclectic range of gourmet style creations. My particular favourite is the "Gulf of Mexico".

It's an Aussie chain I believe but the only one I've seen in Sing is the East Coast Road store.
