Nearest residential place to Bukit Merah Central

Post by shobanbabutc » Mon, 18 Apr 2011 5:25 pm

Hi,

I would be moving to Singapore starting from 16th may 2011. What would be decent family living location for Myself, Wife and a 1 year old kid. For the initial one week the company would be providing me with the accommodation and for then on i should look for a residence of my own. May be for an initial one month i would not get my family, until i settle down in Singapore.

Please provide me with any links and some information about the living condition in Singapore.

Thanks,

Nope.

You appear to want your arse wiped, so I was just wondering if you brought your own paper?

a) People object to statements such as "provide me with any links and some information" because you presume that others exist to provide you with information you could look up yourself.

b) It is clear you have not done a search on this website because much information exists about the questions you have asked... a mountain of information.

c) Your questions are so general that answers are useless. Had you done a search you could ask more specific questions... but you haven't. Hence, some of the members here find your questions wanting... and your response is... an attack?

You are on the wrong side of this one. Do a bit of homework. Come back with specific questions. None of us here are particularly prone to provide you with links unless you have done your homework.

Sorry about my sentence, but this is the first time i am posting some thing for information. may be i was not correct in putting my requirement.

a) I did my search in net and i could not find my share of information and hence i had to post this question.

b) Sure, may i shall re-check again in searching information of this.

c) I only want to know which is the closest residential area to reach office (without much travelling) which would be in Bukit Merah Central. My afford-ability would be around 1500 SGD per month.

If this information is not sufficient, may be i would go through some more links and information and ask for an update.

thanks

The nearest residential area to Bukit Merah Central is Bukit Merah, which Bukit Merah Central is the centre of.
I fail to understand how the Internet (especially Google Maps) could not have told you that.

You won't find any apartment fit for a family at S$1500 or below in Bukit Merah (or anywhere else in Singapore, for that matter). For a basic HDB flat, budget at least S$2000/month. Otherwise you'd have to share a place with others.
A simple search on this forum could have told you this, too.

Err .. Bukit Merah stretches much longer than BM Center :D :D

And maybe the poster meant 'condos' .. and not housing like HDB houses, (or public housing .. ) where mere mortals like me live in ... ;)

Thing about searching on the internet is it's an iterative process. Try once, look at the results, and search again based on the results. Then tweak your search queries. Rinse, repeat.

Or alternatively, ask a bunch of unpaid strangers to do it for you and then get angry when they refuse
