My only advise is if your kid doesn't go to SAS you're screwed.

Oh, and local schools are either so hard to get into or too stressful academically to really be worth the bother, right? Not to mention, if your kid doesn't go to SAS you're screwed.

Thanks, it's a slow work day. Just remember, if your kid doesn't get into SAS you're screwed.

Hey does anyone know what Tanglin school is like, I will be earning $2000 a month and have 22 children, I really want to put them in this school and charter a bus. What is the waiting list like? we arrive in 3.5 hours and they need school from tomorrow.

Hi guys,
I have been constantly following the advices of all the guru's especially SMS and Strong Beagle on PR applications and have decided to put up my case for their advice.
A brief detail about my family goes as follows.. Me and my wife are from India. My wife is staying in Singapore since 4 years now working with a highly reputed bank as an AVP, she have MASTER from TOP school in India. She is Canada citizen, and currently apply for Australia passport. I came to SG after my wedding on a dependent pass and now currently working on an EP since past 2.5 years. I applying for Canada passport. We applied for PR in 2009 with my wife as the sole earning member and it got rejected within 2 months. ICA letter stated that we should apply back after 6 months. However, we thought of getting ourselves stable here in SG, not apply for any other citizenships for 6 months, and then re-apply PR.
So this year we applied for PR in March 2011. There's no response from ICA yet. Their online status just shows "PENDING". It's 5 months already. People have said that if you dont receive a rejection letter within the first 3 months your chances are high. But there are some rejections even after 6 months right. I know this guy who got rejected after 9 months!!
What & when do you think is our chances of the PR getting approved?
Appreciate your feedbacks, should we apply for another country?

TripAdvisor review of Marina Bay Sands, and response:
'The hotel is a rip off and I hated it. You can stay in town at better places for a quarter of the price. By the time we fought through the queues for breakfast all that was left was bread. Rats would have to bite my legs off before I'd limp back to this dump.
