Hi,
With all the International Schools having crazy waiting lists, I came across One World International who say they have spaces for my 7 year old and 3 year old.
Any feedback on this school? Is it good? I am due to visit the school next week and was wondering if I should ask any particular questions?
Thanks

One World International School good?
Hi there,
We are moving to Singapore in July with our 5 year old, 3 year old and zero year old and are in the process of researching schools. On paper, One World looks really nice and they sent me a very nice email in response to my query. Did you get a chance to look at the school? What did you think? So far, the only criticism I can find about the school is its location.
Thanks!

They opened a few years ago (about 4 or 5 I believe). I'm not sure how they're doing as I don't know anyone who goes there - they had a change of management a year or two ago but apart from that, I think they're just one of those fairly newish schools which hasn't got much reputation yet (good or bad!). So that could be a good thing - I certainly haven't heard anything negative about them and most people have plenty to say (good and bad) about the more established International Schools.
Hi
We are likely to move to Singapore in a month from Abu Dhabi(UAE)
I never imagined schooling would be such a headache. In NZ i had decided my children would stay out of school till age 6 so they can learn through free play and socialising in many networks.
Three years ago we took our kids out of NZ and was stunned that my child was expected by law to be in school by his 4th birthday.
He started KG1 a week before his 4th birthday in term 2. Now he has just graduted(a diploma to cross the hall to grade1:-)from KG2 ready for grade 1. My daughter 3.5yrs cant wait to start KG1(6wks before she turns 4);she is itching to get going.
Because we have had misfortune of 4redundencies and moving far we have really had problems with school spaces and it seems Singapore is no different. So good luck to all incoming newbies and myself with school applications. I hope there are many of you willing to meet and get kids together as it seems many incoming with similar ages.
