planing to reject an signed offer. please help

Post by leetohguan » Tue, 12 Apr 2011 5:45 pm

Around one month ago. I got an offer from company A and I have signed the contract. I resinged from my current company and will join company A by May.

Now, I got another offer from Comapny B. The package is similar to A.However, the career at B from my point of view is more promising than A.

In the contract I signed with A, it said that if I did not join A for any reason, I will need to pay one month salary as penalty. I really like to join B, however, at the same time, one month salary is a lot to me.

I have another option. I just join B in May and resing after 1 or 2 days. In that case, I will not need to pay the penalty. I know it is very unethical. I will sham on myself if I do that.

Does anybody meet such situation? And how did your guys handle it?

I am really struggling on this issue.

Methinks, you are being greedy and mucking around with all the employers. Someone should slam dunk you for your attitude
