Hey guys
don't stereotype sgporeans too quickly. I LOVE

to cook (i'm local) and have 2 kitchens. but i admit that i get a lot of pretty annoying qns fr locals "why do you cook when it's so cheap to eat outside?" or "isnt it troublesome to wash dishes & clean up?"
anywy since you're wondering y we like to take photos, i personally am a foodie and like to take pics of food i eat, to remember the taste and how it looked. Esp if i know i'm not going to have it again or for a long time. Recently went to Italy and may not be able to return for a few years.

(i usually don't take pics of food in Singapore as i think i can have it anytime - recently found that's not true - standards drop, and one of my fav pubs with great bar food closed down

and so i'll prob start bringing my camera out.). Anywy the pics serve to retain good memories (i have a short term memory these days) and make me salivate (sorry to be gross) each time i see it. when i see a pic i took, i'm usually like "OMG that tasted so good, it melted in my mouth, how i'd love to have it again soon!".
so hope this answers yr qns...
