Best place to buy a laptop

Post by celtics1 » Mon, 11 Apr 2011 10:50 am

Where is the best place to buy a laptop based on price, selection, and service quality? I'm spefically interested in a Lenovo Thinkpad or an Acer.

Buy from Challenger at Funan. Be member then have 5 percent discount. Can also go bargain for more free stuff. Good service too. Not promoting just being honest.

Lots of different stores sell those brands in Funan Mall. Take your pick.

I got my Lenovo Ideapad U160 from Challenger too (Jurong Point branch), don't remember they give 5% discount for member (despite being a member there). If you pay in lump sump (cash/cc/nets) instead of installment, they will give you some freebies like thumb drive, screen protector, etc. Service wise can be improved, but I was more concern about the price.

I recommend that you can wait till the Polytechnic Admission period, and it'll coincide with IT fair at the same time, and during that period of the year, will the deals be the sweetest :).

Hope it helps
