Well, to be fair, I did meet someone wonderful there. What could've but isn't is entirely my fault, though.

If you only knew what Emerald Hill or Cuppage were like before they got totally buggered (demolished and rebuilt 'in their image'). They used to be 'real' and really nice, now they're just plastic.
p.s. Sorry am I sounding as jaundiced as SMS yet? I must have been in the express queue, lol...

A slumber party - so you have to take a teddy bear along and you get to read bedtime stories?! Did the fact it was in Clarke Quay help you to blow your load much quicker than normal?

I aint got no issue with clarke quay, its quite alright actually... i've been to another spot called No. 5 thats at Emerald hill i think... pretty chilled out place but i guess if you cant take the crowds than you might want to skip it... but thats the thing about Singapore isnt it, there are crowds literally everywhere

So what was the name of the bar? Surely you can remember that, if it's was as hot has you claim it was. I mean, seeing you have only been here for a little while it had to be pretty recent, right? If you weren't here then, how do you know it was "hot"? Or do you have a overactive imagination?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

thanks for the info, I'll be sure to give it a big miss!!
But at least you are starting to explore other places like Emerald Hill - there is some hope for you yet.
P.S. I think you'd be well suited to a night in OT. You're always guaranteed a bit of slumber fun after a visit there

off the beaten track dont forget numerous outdoor drinking places in Geylang, which is cheap and can view the FOB street walkers
recommend also martini bar at Hyatt or rooftop bars above one fullerton and boathouse bar.
coupke of place on top floor of orchard central offering good early evening offers

Does anyone know where to get costume jewellery repaired in Singapore? Eg re-stringing beaded necklaces, replacing stones on a ring, ring size...

Hmm... you seem really enthusiastic about the place. Your other post was also about it.

Such places wouldn't even have wifi... if you're referring to the strength of service, it really depends on how remote the place in question is.
