Diving

Postby RJosephWilson » Mon, 04 Apr 2011 2:38 pm

Anyone interested in diving. I am in Singapore alone, but would like to find someone to go on diving trips while I am in Singapore. I am here until October.

I am new to diving - just got PADI certified.
Thanks,

Where got diving in Singapore :D :D

Well, I only do my dives overseas, as, even in the neighbouring countries, diving is expensive, and since it is expensive, a lot of pressure is on to maximise the dive times ..

My 2 cents ..

You can dive Pulau Hantu. I haven't tried it myself but I understand you can find stuff like frogfish and seahorses etc (consider it 'muck diving').

I haven't found diving a cheap sport in general, anywhere, not just countries local to SG. I've done good diving off the Malay east coast, Phuket/Phi Phi and Sipidan/Mabul.

edit to add:
Don't get the bit about pressure to maximise dive times. Who is giving it?
