Hi,
I read some descriptions about LPR , And I want to apply under LPR.
I want to know how should I apply?
what application forms should I fill?
what is next steps?
as my search in internet I found this link:
http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=151&secid=150
But this has nothing about LPR.
Please help me to find answer.
thanks in advance,
Regards,

Search this forum and you will surely find information on how to apply and also some details from people who have applied earlier. Good Luck !

In your case, I don't think it is wise. You will just waste your money if your post is anything to go by. Sorry, but you included the ICA link and it spells out, on that page, exactly where to go for LPR applications. Both the physical address as well as the hyperlink to their site. Why didn't you just go to the SMC link contained on that page and and ask them?!? Or pick up the phone and ask them.

Dear sundaymorningstaple,
I contacted with SMC, but they didn't helped me much,
they said that I should sent my documents with 1500$ to them,
But I want to apply myself not with representative .
Thanks in advance for your help.

in the ICA link,
I just can see a usual Permanent Resident description. which also has informations about P, Q or S work pass holders , but I have no P, Q or S work pass holder. I am outside of Singapore, and I want to apply under LPR.

If I am not wrong, for LPR you have to apply through SMC or any approved representative of ICA for LPR. You can not apply it on your own.

There are only very few representatives which are authorized by ICA for LPR and one of the key ones among them are SMC. Also the fees for LPR would be >= 1500 SGD everywhere

Dear singaporeflyer,
Thanks for your quick responses,
As I read before the SMC applications waits for long time, more than 1 year in some cases. Is there any difference between different representative's approval time for LPR?
Is there any exact time for approval for LPR? any min to max times?
Thanks again

There are others out there that will take your money (in addition to SMC) to do essentially just what you would do. So if money is that easy to come by, just do a search on Google for LPR applications and take your choice. I'm sure you will find that they will willingly take your money to take your documents and send them to SMC for you. All the others agencies are having to do the same thing so they take your money to submit your documents for you. All have to submit thru SMC anyway.
No there isn't any min-max time. Currently it is taking around 14 months. There isn't any guarantee even after waiting that long, if there is a chance of approval or denial (both take the same length of time).
