Specialist Aquarium Stores

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any specialist aquarium stores? Very happy to travel anywhere. I'm looking for stores with a lot of planted aquarium equipment and saltwater equipment.

Rainbow Aquarium in Serangoon has a great selection, I've never found a better aquarium shop for size and pretty good price. There are some small local shops that I poke about in but for marine tanks, I think you want to go to a bigger place. Cheers,

Grumpy77, better get down there fast though. After 30+ years, they are closing up shop. Would seem that they were made an offer that was hard to refuse. The $$$'s were right. They have been having a massive closing down sale for the past couple of weeks. Not sure when the last day is, but don't put is off. For the rest, it might be worth it to make a beeline down there and maybe pickup some good deals. (I actually haven't checked out their prices, as I don't have the room in my flat to start keeping fish again. Used to have a 150 gal. saltwater aquarium for almost 15 years when I lived out in Seletar Airbase. Shut it down and sold it all lock, stock & barrel when I bought this flat in '99 about a 5 minute walk from Rainbow.

Wow, thanks for the tip. I'll be up there this week, hopefully they are still in action in April. I'm looking for a 3' tank for the office. Cheers,
