Switching Job

Post by azg77v » Sun, 03 Apr 2011 2:21 am

Hi,

I am P1 EP holder and I have been working in SG for over 3 years. I applied for PR in mid Dec and still waiting for result. Interestingly, I have a few approaches from head hunters for job opportunities. How do you think switching job would affect my PR application? Any comment would be appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Will your new job qualify for P1 status under the new income levels? If so, I shouldn't think it would matter too much.

However, other things might affect it. But if they do, they would have done at any rate. Too many items in the tickoff boxes and we don't know what they use for weightage criteria.

You would have to notify ICA of your changes on your application though and that may put it to the back of the queue again (unknown on that point though).
