Viral script attack happening!

Post by ksl » Sat, 02 Apr 2011 3:49 am

I'm saying nothing but tick tock tick tock I won't rub it in, but it does confirm my theory that this forum was hit by a viral script and its still multiplying, though it cannot be triggered if the applications have been disarmed, it is on the sql server, and the code was hidden in the garbage text or non appropriate text on those 1 liners. I checked 7 new registered nicks, that all went back to the main owners website no signature was needed has their plan was only injecting the script to the server :P

You need to collect the text of the new posters for the code, should be around 21 new registered posters to complete the script, only the one liners with inappropriate text are suspect. I found 7 on one thread about where to buy art, the OP is one of them all nicks go back to websites.

Looks like your viral monkey ate your viral link. Watch out or it will get your viral banana next.....

I'm waiting to see what next week's word will be. :-|

If it's already on the server, why are you posting here. If you are all that concerned you should be posting it to admins as only they have that access. Also, as SE, Nak, and probably half of our regulars are professionals here, I'm puzzled/surprised that they haven't yet confirmed your doomsday fears. Is this anything like what's happening in Japan? Should we have a 20 km exclusion zone? Are we headed for an uncontrolled meltdown? OMG I'm gettin' worried now! :o

If this is a feeble attempt to be funny or provoke? you have failed again on both. You appear to be suffering a delusional melt down yourself, with all the froth coming out of the cracks in your remarks.

I have no doomsday fears of Japan far from it, so it can only be your delusional mind and interpretation of the posts once again.

With regards to the viral problem, again not my problem, I don't see conspiracies in shadows either, that has been your problem hasn't it?.

What I saw and others noted was suspicious behaviour, that was viral. You with your delusion of grandeur obviously didn't and now call for backup from your professional defence team, rather an embarrassing moment for your tarnished ego. However I don't want your sweets, so how about settling with some respect, and i'll do like wise otherwise turn down the gas down!

Compatibilities Generally, the natives of a Virgo are considered to be compatible with the natives of the other earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn, and two of the natives of the water signs, Cancer and Scorpio. Gemini, Pisces and Sagittarius are semi-compatible signs with Virgo-born individuals. Not at all compatible with a Leo sign unless you understand them. Only a Scorpio is close to the challenge for a Leo, and though they can hardly stand eachother, they still like eachother and respect eachother.

You are what's called a fixed sign, very predictable and stubborn, you cannot help that, it's the delusions of grandeur gone haywire.

Take a chill pill and relax the brain, you are no competition for a Leo hee hee! :P  Now that was funny!

OMG! Look'it what the viral whatever has done. ksl quoted my post and the viral monkey must have eaten his text an only lift my quote.

Is this going to be like the Tomato that ate Chicago?!?

Actually, undercover marketing is what you have been doing here for the past couple of years. Don't know why your are so upset if somebody else attempts it. EV-D practices it as well. So do I for that matter, so does anybody who puts their blog/site in their signature. Heck, it's been around for over a decade already, so why are you trying to create a tempest in a teacup?

Because there is a difference between under cover marketing and hacking websites, though you still don't get it, because you are an earth sign, fixated not your fault.

To discuss a subject like vinegar is no direct marketing attempt...though i will admit that if it has been direct, then the mods have chopped it anyway, which is expected. What was going on with the registrations all of a sudden was an obvious attack of malice not advertising, not my fault or yours.

Also why I explained to nicole.du why i said what i said, and i still stand by what i said to be true, not delusional has others at also PM'd me to confirm they were seeing what i was seeing, only you wasn't. Anyway no need for arguments. peace on earth for everyone, lets just show some respect for each other eh! Has it can only go one way, if we start the wise cracks, that's for sure.

I don't deliberately advertise a brand on this website, I stick with the rules, the rules do allow for malice attacks, if one registers nicks with links to websites. Admin needs to look at this weakness in the forum for scampers and hackers.. There are probably many one line registrants, that can be deleted or activated by a malice attack.
undercover marketing is what you have been doing here for the past couple of years
And you don't with your network of links on your website and almost 17000 posts of course they show up in directories?

But I had already stated as much. Had you bothered to read instead of just lashing out.

ksl, didn't you see my laughing smilie in the last post. Boy are you easy to wind up. Watch out for giant tomatoes, eh? It's really sad that you are the only one here that can see it (the viral whatever). That, or all the others don't care about this site so haven't bothered to confirm your findings. If, in fact, there is proof of this, then admins should be told. Don't you agree? So have you notified them yet?

I can't do it as I don't have any proof. The ball is in your court. Has been from the start. I've only been asking for proof. Still asking.

You are way off base. The viral attack in question requires a link to be clicked so that code can be injected. It would also require a non hardened SQL database to permit the code to be injected. Even the older versions of phpBB have been hardened.

So, what is it that you think is happening to this website? Who is being compromised?

More evidence from my side:

- Most people don't talk incoherent stuff about viral aliens attacking the Internet. Most of these people don't drink vinegar.
- I am not overweight, so KSL wins here! (KSL: "I'll bet my facts will outweigh yours!")
- Even though I don't piss vinegar either, I like this "contest".

Have a nice day, all of you!
