Are Trade skills in demand in Singapore ???

My wife has taken a job in Singapore recently. We'll be arriving in January. I've worked in the Oil and Gas industry as a Instrument Tech for 10 years. My trade is Instrument/Electrical fitting so i have an Australian Electrical Licence also.

Whats my chances of getting employment ? And whats an average wage for someone in my position. Which industries should i be looking at ? Only looking for a Monday to Friday job onshore in Singapore...

I'd like to know this as well as I am an electrician also and cant seem to find any info on employment in regards to trades. any help would be great.
