Expat Wives/Husbands/Partners Support Discussion Group

Post by Zavaeh » Wed, 30 Mar 2011 10:11 am

Greetings Everyone!

I finally decided to create a topic thread for us expat wives/husbands/partners living in Singapore to share our experiences and to support each other....
I have some fair share of adjusting to culture, weather, and changes in life style here in Singapore. How about you? Do you still remember what it was like when you first moved to Singapore and how have you been adjusting to culture (or maybe there isn't much adjustment needed for you)? What are the things new to you here? What do you enjoy doing and how do you make new friends or build a new supportive social network? It'd be my pleasure to meet you who share similar experiences such as culture shock, inter-cultural marriage/relationship, adjusting to a different/new life, any personal changes, or any other related subjects....etc...etc...though please only share things you are comfortable with and not too personal for you. I invite and welcome you to please join me.

Multi posting/spamming the forum isn't a good start is it!

Sorry about that if it bothered you. It's just a one time start, posting in relavent categories to help people noticing the thread. They just happened to be your favourite categories and I got your attention didn't I? :) Peace.

It wasn't the only one's attention you got. Another instance of that will find your account locked permanently.

I am sorry about that. I am new to posting in a forum, this is actually my very first time in my life. I was just posting once only in muti-categories for potential participants with an intention to help people noticing. But I see what you mean, I didn't realize I was "spamming." Thank you for helping me deleting them, I was going to delete them all anyway. Appreciate your notice. :) Peace.

The whole forum is about this. Perhaps you should start reading first before posting anything?
