mums group

Hi there! i had my first baby in Dec 2010, and he will be turning 4 months old in April. Have left my job to look after him since he was born, and as i'm a first time mum and most of my friends are still single or newly married, not having much young mummy friends around to meet up, discuss about parenting and simply chill out!

I still find it daunting to bring a 4 month old out alone, but i'm sure i'm not the only one who thinks so! It is tough for a first time mum, and it will be great to find other first time mums or ladies who are in the same shoes, be friends and meet up since it gets boring staying home and speaking baby talk all day!

I'm Singaporean, but my boy is holding dual nationality so it will be great to meet mummies and baby friends from both local and overseas! It will be great to share tips, make friends and eventually be playgroup mates!

Hi sychen,

Currently I'm expecting my 2nd baby, but usually my friend organize a playgroup every wednesday. Most of them are 1st time parents and we are usually friends from church. It's quite fun and we can share our problem and experience.. Where do you stay?
I stay in west area...

Hi. I would also be interested to meet other mummies. I've been living here for 4 years already, my girl is 3,8 year old but mostly she is in full-day care. I am expecting my second one in early december and I live in Choa Chu Kang. I am from Russia by the way.)

Hi Jas,

Thank you so much for the PM. I wanted to reply but for some reason the forum won't let me reply to you until I make more posts...? Don't understand why! So I am trying to contact you back by replying to another of your posts.

Oh well... thank you for the advice on Mum's Groups, I had no idea these websites existed and I will definitely check out some groups on there.

Did you have any luck meeting nice people to hang out with?! Have you tried any of these groups?

Take care
xx
