Landside crew in singapore

Post by Quety101 » Tue, 29 Mar 2011 12:01 am

Hey guys

I apologise in advance if this is the wrong section but as it is airline related I thought someone posting in this section would have a good idea. I am planning to take a job in Singapore towards the end of the year/early next year and will be bringing my wife with me as well.

We currently work in London, she works in the ticketing office of a major airline and has also worked in check-in for several years. She will want to be working as well as me so something in her field of expertise is preferred. Does she need to be contacting each airline in turn or is there a good website that lists vacancies for companies working out of Singapore? I have performed some searches on the website but have been unable to find anything as of yet

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

-just to add she speaks japanese and English and has about 5 years airline (ground) experience

Thanks

Have her approach JAL's office here in Singapore. I don't know of any airline specific sites here but usually the direct approach is best, especially if coming with experience in hand.

Landside crew is outsourced to SATS and CIAS .. the airlines merely have a skeleton staff to manage exceptional cases only ..

Ticketing - you could approach the Airline Ticket sales offices.

If she has GDS exposure, a PM to me may help .. (may help .. ) :)

Cheers

I think you need to post 5 posts, before you can get PM facility ..

Anyway, let me PM you, and see if you can retrieve it .. dunno if that works though ..
