Dog friendly cafes/restaurants around Novena ?

Post by Ilovebailey » Sun, 27 Mar 2011 9:30 pm

Hi there, we just moved to Novena. Been walking around and see a lot of nice cafes and restaurants but they're all in the shopping mall. Since we got a dog and we normally take her out with us for lunch/dinner whenever we have a chance. Not sure if there's any expats or any dog friendly restaurants around there? Anyone got any reccommendations please?
Thank you so much!

None there that I'm aware of, but there is a cafe on the roof of NEX at the Serangoon MRT station. Even has two outdoor dog runs outdoors as well, one for small and one for large dogs. (Floor 4R) The lifts for the roof if with dogs is around on the side entrance off the main roads (Serangoon Road and Serangoon Central)

Hi There

I find that most places with outdoor seating are ok with our dog. There is a lovely cafe at Kallang that will allow dogs in one area it is called Loysel's Toy and does great coffee, there is also a really nice walk along the river there.

Most places along Robertson Quay are fine as are many places at Dempsey Hill. 40 hands at Tiong Bahru have an outdoor area. Picotin at turf city (as well as many of the outdoor restaurants there)

Hope this is of use

Hi there, I read an article this evening at the salon on pooch-friendly cafes. I think it's the August edition of SIMPLY HER. There's one at Pasir Ris too, including a paddle pool area you can bring your pet too for a swim, with an adjacent cafe! Great isn't it?
