This thread has become much like a secondary school recess with everybody trying to out do the other behind the teacher/monitors back. Bad taste abounds. Kinda like smoking in the toilets with a lookout for the hall monitors. Unfortunately, while I am definitely not a prude, some things don't really belong on a family site, even if it did arrive in your email or elsewhere.

Kenneth Moen Hillclimb Drift Lillehammer
One for the petrol-heads out there!
A family friend doing a time-trial up a mountain in Norway.
p.s. Jeez, last time I met him he was a rather shy 12 year old boy who liked cars. how time flies...
edit to add:
It benefits greatly from being viewed Full-screen.

World's hottest chilli contest leaves two in hospital
Emergency services were called to Kismot Restaurant's curry-eating
challenge, on St Leonards Place, Edinburgh, after competitors started writhing on the floor in agony, vomiting and fainting during the contest.
One participant, Curie Kim was so ill after sampling the "Kismot Killer" that she had to be taken by ambulance to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary twice in a matter of hours.
He [the owner] added that half of the 20 people who took part in the challenge had dropped out after witnessing the first 10 diners vomiting, collapsing, sweating and panting.
Previously the restaurant's Kismot Killer dish has caused diners to suffer nose bleeds and one elderly man had to go to hospital.
Mr Ali said he felt the competition had gone well, but that he had overestimated how much heat the competitors could take.

Ha ha!! Reminds me of the drivers in SG who park up near the ERP gantries and wait to dodge the charges when the timing changes......despite having $500k carsJR8 wrote:The great haul of China: Woman climbs 70ft wall... just to dodge £2.50 castle admission fee

It's elementary. If you can not afford a 500k car and you still buy it you need to look for savingsBillyB wrote:Ha ha!! Reminds me of the drivers in SG who park up near the ERP gantries and wait to dodge the charges when the timing changes......despite having $500k cars

I am more impressed by people spending half a day and probably dozens of dollars on the petrol just to buy something somewhere 50c cheaper. But this is not that specific to Singapore.
