Baby wind medicine?

Post by mrstt » Tue, 22 Mar 2011 3:10 pm

Hi,

I've got 4 months old twins suffering with wind. I've been giving them rid wind drops but it doesn't seem to make any difference at all. I also read on the Internet that Infacol is very good. Did anyone try it and if yes, I would like to know where I can buy it in Singapore.

Thanks

Try going to any local store and asking for " Gripe Water " the locals here know it as grape water. Its very effective and is used by every local household ,In fact, I still use it for my boy who is 5 years old whenever he says he has a tummy ache. :)

Recently I had a client on business trip from US with a newborn who was very colicky and kept crying. Baby was given some Gripe Water and he was fine after that. :)

Hope it works for you.

Gripe water works a treat... using it currently on my 1 month old and have used it with my other 2 children.

One question, have they always been really windy?

Might just be wind or it could be something else like an intolerance/allergy to something. I have been through it all with my previous 2 children. Older one was allergic to lots (grown out of most things), middle child intolerant to dairy for about 14months. Mine were both breast fed bubs and I had to restrict my diet. Once I had it all worked out I didn't need the gripe water anymore

Hope you have some luck and the wind settles down
