Gets deposited in to your bank account if you've set it up to, same as the GST refunds.

Depends on what the gahmen want to do. Sometimes they give it either as a cheque or direct deposit to your bank account, other times it's whacked into your CPF and it doesn't do you a damn bit of good.
Course, if you are a PR, you don't get diddly-squat! AND to make matters worse, if, because you are a PR and you buy an HDB Flat bigger than you need (or take care of aging parents) your freebies will be reduced even though all our expenses are much, much higher taking care of the elderly.

Im even more confused. I remember getting GST credits but never recalled growth dividend.
The policy is that once I registered for GST credits I will get growth dividend automatically?
Time to practise my Singlish and call CPF on monday.
"a a a, I heard from the news Oii, the gahmen got give Singaporean free money lah, but then I dont know whether I got the money or not loh..So I damn sian loh"
