Short Visit Pass

Post by da_fall3n » Fri, 11 Mar 2011 12:49 am

I've been notified that my Visa Application is not successful. I had to stay one more semester at the school and I didn't apply for the student pass, therefore I've been living in my visit pass and extension. I re-apply again this time after staying out of the country for a week and it's rejected. What should I do? DO I NEED TO MENTION THE rejection every time I apply visa to other countries or reapply Singapore Visa?

Why did you NOT apply for student visa when you need to complete another semester ? It is easy to get extension as you just need a letter from your school to state the reason you need to extend.

Now you are in hot soup as ICA suspect that you are here working illegally due to your frequency of Social Visa entry.

Go to ICA and explain your predicament, this is the best approach. Or else you can kiss good bye to your studies . It maybe sometime before you can reenter SG again.
Do it now before they banned you for 2,3 or 5 years from entering

Yes, I'm in the hot seat right now. Well, I can't go ICA and explain them because I'm already out of the country, in Malaysia + the embassy here don't let walk in visa applications since they are all outsourced and the agents just submit the forms accordingly. I was attending Polytechnic so I still have the government grant which I need to fulfill.

What a dork !! Nah... you will be alright as long as you can proof that you genuinely made a blunder.

Did you say you go to SG Embassy at KL and now they have outsourced all applications!!

Outsourced

Yap, all walk in visa is not available since don't know when. There are three agents in malaysia and two in JB. I went to one of them and found out it's no difference then the Online because they'll just submit the form that u filled in and it usually takes around 3 or 4 days and Online only takes one working day. Actually I have two siblings in SG one of them citizen and the other PR. I've applied the visa again online with my Citizen brother. Will know the results today.

Since one of your sibling is a SGer and he can sponsor you then your application should not be a major. He needs to earn $2.5K in order to sponsor you. You can combine both PR and SG sponsor
