Letter from Australian High Comm to certify relationship

Post by Ell » Thu, 10 Mar 2011 11:54 am

Hi,

I need a letter for my partner from the Australian High Commission to certify that our relationship is long term. She already has a LTVP but we need this for insurance. Any one had any luck? Any advice?

How do you mean "insurance" ?

Insurance as insurance cover or as a back up to apply for EP Pass or what ?

Health insurance. Apparently we can't get couple cover without this letter.

I would have thought that if you are from OZ, defacto partner which is recognise there would have the same application here.
Where are you getting your insurance from ? In SG or OZ
Which insurance company?

BTW getting the letter to certify that both of you are co-habiting is not an issue from OZ embassy here. It is the same for those that apply EP and wanting to get DP for their partner but have to proof to MOM that they are in common-law marriage arrangement prior approval.
