Protection against cervical cancer

My friend just shared this article about protection against cervical cancer with me - http://www.hpb.gov.sg/diseases/cervicalcancer.aspx

I read that it's best to be protected before getting exposed to the virus and I've decided to bring my 14-year-old for a HPV vaccination soon. Any parents here brought their kid/s for a vaccination?

Great idea. It's a very nice way to protect not just your own but also for your daughter.
