EP holder - how to apply for a visa for my mother?

Postby dubaiwiz » Sun, 27 Feb 2011 11:19 pm

I tried to search the forum on how an EP (P2) pass holder can apply for a visa for parents/family, but am unable to find anything.

Can anyone give any info on the process? links?

There is no special visa for the parents, just apply for the short term visit pass, there is no chance of a LTVSP.

Why no chance of a LTVSP?
from MOM:
P1, P2 Employment Pass holders may apply for Long Term Visit Passes for their:

•Common-law Spouse
•Unmarried daughters above 21 years of age
•Handicapped children above 21 years of age
•Stepchildren under 21 years of age
•Parents and parents-in-law

Yes it is possible to get LTSVP for parents.

My father and mother are on LTSVP, i am here on EP P2.
Your organization must apply for an LTSVP under your sponsorship on EP Online.
