Hey All,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good doctors or treatments for knee pain?

Thanks,

APOS

Post by janetistotallyawesome » Tue, 22 Feb 2011 7:13 pm

Hi John,

What kind of knee pain are you having?

Asiaone Health had an interesting article about a kind of therapy for back pain called APOS. It seems pretty interesting. They will have an open house at their Center (Camden Medical) on March 13th. One of the founders, Dr. Avi Elabaz, will be there, so you could probably pose any questions and gather more information there if you are interested.

Cheers,

Totally Awesome Janet

Well they have Janet & John covered, am waiting for Pat the dog to chime in with a post. Obviously learned to read in 1970s England.

I wouldn't know about that. I did read the AsiaOne article though. I've been having knee problems too and am thinking about trying it out.

Has anyone tried the APOS thing? I'm curious what their opinions are.

Not two, all three of them. Addadude though I was sleeping but I weren't! I didn't delete 'em as they really didn't have any hyperlinks or addresses so just locked their accounts, bernardo is just their third reincarnation (who is also locked). Funny, you should mention. All three are so stupid that they are posting from the same IP address. #-o Makes it easy for us.

Sorry. But I can charge her $100 and prescribe a glass of water as just as easily.

Knee pain

Post by mf21 » Mon, 07 Mar 2011 11:42 am

I saw someone else wrote about this, but I have been to Apos also after a running injury two months ago. I could barely walk 5 meteres without having to sit down. Now, I am thinking about starting to run again. My knee feels great. I learned a lot about myself through the process as well.

Can't seem to use PM, but Apos is at Camden Medical Center near Orchard MRT on the 5th floor. Ask for the new MD there. I know him.

Dr Tho Kam San

This guy is a master of anything knee related!! Works with the Singapore National football team - not sure that is a great recommendation of his skills given how bad they are on the pitch!! But he is one sharp cookie and great personality to go with it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him
