Speaking of the 2 "participants", we now see the both doing tango dance on some street in Beijing. And so intense was the "dance" that even U.S. ambassador to China wants to get involved in the dirty dancing...LOL!

But where are the crowds?
I presumed the dejected journalists can only report "There was no sign of protest as the police deployed unusual tactics to prevent demonstrations..."

I take that as an invisible international power play at work here.

Everyone in China loves their government, oh apart from the odd one or two misfits.

It's so tedious, aren't you even bored and ashamed of pushing your povs on people who have different experiences from you?
My dear Chang . . . I'm not the one mocking free speech, it is you and your preposterous assertions that is doing that quite nicely . . . and a war with someone like you is not necessary - simply facts and truth will suffice.

Oh, was it dengue, malaria , herpes, H1N1 etc... that your 'child' was suffering from? Can't remember? Egads . . . what kind of a mother are you? The kind that would let a government murder her children? :o Your words . . . quite shocking.

If that's your presumption, then you must be the govt chief.
I'm beginning to suspect a Medusa here with a few heads! It's this, Vaucluse - you were a bright spark when you wre a New Yorker ; witty and classy too; but lately, you seem to be turning English and that's jr8's style really. It doesn't do you to copy that knave you know.
Since when do I get the frequent attention of two mad dogs that cannot help crushing on my bouquets and going barking mad ? Can you see yourseves snarling - jeez all those canine rows!
If I must tell you, I'm a bolshy XXXXL with the complexion of boiled pork and spots of jaundice wearing mde chiang's square black glasses. Even dogs are frightened to approach me.
As for bullying masochists who are craving for the stick, well, we're just too polite. However hard you try, the worst you'll get is a polite tiff and then that's it.
Well, ni hao , if this is a poor attempt to distract you elswehere so we can have some peace.

After using the Stalin-Mao-Hitler threesome image, we now see another picture from the same source! I simply do not understand why JR8 has such infatuation over Dr. Curry's theories.

Here is another photo showing children giving the "salute" in a US elementary class.
So does picture says a thousand words?..not always.

I've never heard of this Curry chap you mention, perhaps you can elaborate on who he is?

I merely googled on 'Mao Chinese nazis' and picked a couple of graphics.
Oh my. Me bad. Please try "Dr. Rex Curry"
I thought u would have noticed the credit embedded in the Stalin-Mao-Hilter jpeg that u had posted earlier...
And so the world marches on it seems. Yeah, it was outrageous to have the extreme right or left but perhps not the extremists, after all. Which was the worst?

It looks like Auntie Changster is losing it to a great degree now . . . not even a semblance of discussion coming from her propaganda-fingers busily itching to recite passages from the little red book . . . and no more references to pussy either. :?

Why do Chinese rich people lose sense of safety?

Post by Eau2011 » Wed, 02 Mar 2011 11:30 am

For Auntie Anne, this one is from People's daily online, if you like to read the news from mainland:

http://www.peopleforum.cn/redirect.php? ... nextoldset
Why do Chinese rich people lose sense of safety
The tide of investment immigration of Chinese rich people surged in 2009. According to immigration agency source, Canada and Australia are the top 2 immigration destinations for the Chinese rich because two nations apply relatively lax immigration policy and the Chinese immigrant communities there have grown mature which provide convenience for new immigrants to adapt to new life.

The reasons for immigration trend of the rich born in mainland of China lie in the seeking for better education for their children and sense of safety for the rich themselves based on the investigation result of a domestic newspaper. It’s understandable that parents look for sound education environment for child but why do Chinese rich people feel much safer abroad than home?

It seems that the mass holds a prejudice against the rich for quiet long time. The society especially the lower class insists on that the wealth of billionaires and millionaires is sinful. In public’s stereotype, tax dodging and bribery pave the way for success of the rich. Last week, the former tycoon Huang Guangyu was sentenced to 14 years in prison, which deepens the belief that social elites always earn dirty money through illegal channels. Therefore the rich in China begins to think of immigration to protect their property and lives.

What is real target of public hostility to the rich, their wealth or the illegal way to amass wealth? An economy analysis points out that the public’s resentment is the fruit of faults existing in current society. The rich takes the advantage of loopholes in laws and market system to make profits but have little sense of the corresponding responsibility. Leaving for abroad might also be taken as the only wayout to evade the social responsibilities they should have assumed as the rich few in a developing country.
