Hair Salons who can do black hair?

Post by dprice01 » Mon, 21 Feb 2011 8:41 am

I'm African American and possibly moving to Singapore very soon. Does anyone know of any salons in Singapore that know how to relax/cut black hair? Thanks :)

You can try Trimmings @ Loewen Gardens. I think they are pretty good !

Hi
I am a black woman with of course African frizzy hair. I am a total fan of Brazilian keratin treatment to straighten my hair. In Paris before arriving to Singapore, i did this brazilian straightenig in my hair salon and i would like continue here.
Moreover, i have hair cold fusion hair extensions ( this method uses no heat, no glue and no heat tool to bond extensions )to have more volume and  length  . My extensions are 100% human Remy hair extensions.

So somebody does it know if there is in Singapore a good hairdresser to perform the same keratin treatment and to apply black hair extensions according to cold fusion technique and to remove my previous cold hair extensions
Thank for you reply, that is very urgent

Try any good salons in 5 star hotels if you can afford it. They do very good jobs.

How many 5 star hotels have you tried in Singapore and do you have afro-american hair? According to anecdotal evidence over the years here, there are very few here who actually know how to take care of that type of hair properly. Your posts are only trying to get eyeball hits on your blogsite and are beginning to smack of advertising SEO style as not too many of your posts are really relevant or correct either.

We are watching.

I am not black, but, one of my colleagues who is mentioned he found a good old malay barber who is good, he has a marine cut though. I can try and find details if you still need them.

For that matter, not that it's any good for laydees, my son did his first "black" haircut at "Hounds of the Baskervilles" and was well taken care of and was told he handles the 'do' very well. He's been doing pretty good there at nights and on the weekends (he still in the Navy).
