is it ok to upgrade my pass to EP with 2 job titles?

Discuss about getting a well paid job or career advancement. Ask about salaries, expat packages, CPF & taxes for expatriate.

is it ok to upgrade my pass to EP with 2 job titles?

Post by jaimee15 » Fri, 18 Feb 2011 2:14 pm

Hi,

I was hired as a Sales and Marketing Executive 6 months ago, got Spass and now my boss offered me to take another position, his executive secretary.

I told him I will only accept the offer with salary increase and EP. He agreed. (i took the online assessment using Executive secretary and it showed im qualified for both Spass n E pass, then tried for the Sales n Marketing Executive role and got the same result) However,

My question is, is it ok to upgrade my pass to EP with a new title as : Executive Secretary/Sales and Marketing Executive?

or should I tell my company to just maintain Sales and Marketing Executive and only change salary?

another is should I ask my boss to come up with a new job title??

Thanks..

You cannot have two job titles. MOM has a list of titles that you will somehow have to fit into. You cannot anyhow create any ole name you want.

I do not see the point of getting too complicated. What is your new designation? Then apply with that!

It is up to the Employer to apply with the name that they use as long as it fits into the MOM's job listings.
