My take on the Stupid questions is :
if you cannot answer them = you may leave
if you can answer them = renunciation - not approved - you cannot leave, and will have to be in SG forever.....

I went to the concert Wednesday night. It was totally Freaking Awesome! Can't hardly believe they played for three hours and were tight as the dickens the whole night. Their harmonies show how long they've been together. Hard to believe a bunch of middle-aged rockers can pull off that kind of performance! Well worth the bread I must admit although I choked at the "official" souvenir prices! $50 for a T! Take it easy!

I didn't know you can sing. Anyway seriously , for those Sgers whom wishes to apply for overseas PRs in countries like OZ , UK and the likes, one of the requirement for PR application is criminal background check which has to be produce from SG Crime Division if one is of good character.
You have to get this clearance from PCC at Cantonment. You pay $100.oo and they give you a form to fill up on what is the purpose of seeking this clearance letter from the police. On the second page of this form which HAS NO RELATION PERTAINING to the first form is a survey why do you want to migrate overseas. One of the question asked is

1. What is the purpose of you migrating
a) business opportunity
b) I do not want my child to serve NS
c) education
d) There is no opportunity in SG

There are about 15 questions which is totally irrelevant, stupid and has no bearing to the clearance form you are after.
So are the questions stupid or what ?

There are many form which pose these kind of questions which I find it really hard to comprehend
