I have been devoted to fitness for more than five years.I do cardio and lift weighting, but some reason,i cant lose the few pounds on my thighs.I usually do kickboxing, running and step aerobics

And do these will just make my thighs thicker?
I also do lunges an squats with weight.
I really want to continue strength training because of the health benefits and the great toning, but i want to look less thick and more lean.

what is best for me?

Some people are predisposed to having bigger areas on certain bodyparts. When we say bigger, it could be due to big muscles underneath or just fat accumulation or a mixture of both.

Fat accumulation for women is common at the thighs and hips (gynoid type) whereas for men is the tummy and lovehandles (android type).

Assuming that you're a female and that your thigh area has more muscle than fat, you should do less lower body workout and increase the frequency of your upper body workout to correct the muscle imbalances.

You can PM me if you have further questions on your problem.

Good luck!
