Singapore Lacrosse

Post by Ross14 » Fri, 11 Feb 2011 2:46 pm

Does anyone know anywhere that plays lacrosse in Singapore?

I've come over from the UK where I played it all the time but my search so far to has come up with nothing

Any help?

Cheers,
Ross

Hai Ross 14,
Have you got the lacrosse club? I desperately tried to find it, but end up with nothing..
To be loved or to love, which one is your choice?

Hey,

No I havent been able to find anywhere that plays at all. I asked most of the unis if they play it yet but no luck :(
I used to play in Newcastle when I was at uni and before I came I played with Wilmslow (UK).

Where you played before? Where you from

Ross

That stinks. I currently coach in the states and play on club teams in the summer. I was hoping there was a quiet underground league going. :(

Hey Guys,

I am still living in America and have played lacrosse for about 10 years and have been coaching for 3. I will be moving to Singapore soon and was interested in playing over there.

Are there any woman lacrosse teams or is just guys or do you think we could get away with co-ed? I didn't even think about packing my lacrosse stick but now that I see some interest I just might!

Get back to me soon?

Thanks!

Nice to hear from you,

yes we are just in the process of forming a singapore team, although only male thus far but we do have one other girl who occasionally comes and tosses around with us if you're interested?

we're just in the early stages of getting the team together but if you're interested in getting involved and maybe starting a girls team as well let me know!

Hey as long as I get to toss the ball around I am good and get to meet people! I also don't mind watching you all run drills, I enjoy guys lacrosse, more entertaining than girls lacrosse! lol

I am not sure of our leave date to come to Singapore but I will be arriving there with in the next couple of weeks (a month or so) As soon as I know I will post up here.

Thanks for getting back to me!

Hey Gents!

I will be leaving the states on the 17th of September. Our flight is a total of 20 hours and we will be arriving Monday at 3am. Of course I am going to need time to get use to the time change, but I am very excited to come out and meet you all and pass around if that is still okay? If it's not I totally understand

Thanks,

Lauren[/list]
