Hi
We have got PR nearly 3 years, but stay here only 1.5 years, we are planning to apply Citizen after 1 year more.
But main application for PR from my husband, but his job nature not working in Singapore, always travel in different countries, so he cannot stay here full time in 2 years, only partial,
May I know how to count the time in stay here ? per years ?
If I hv got job in goverment unit in Lecturer, two kids study here, eldest one study here over 4.5 years,?
Base on the above background, any chance to be succuess in applicaiton.
Thanks
Fatty

Re: Apply Citizen ... how to pay safety to apply
It does not matter if hubby works overseas or not. He does not need to be in SG physically BUT what he needs is ; to pay SG Tax and Contribute CPF in order to prove his income and setting his roots herefattyivy wrote:Hi

It takes about 6 year before anyone can apply for citizenship. Special cases less than this stipulated year will need to have an interview on its own merit >Look up at www.ica.gov.sg
Usually citizenship is based on invitation not apply.
