Best CONDO development in River Valley or Orchard?

Post by mackic01 » Thu, 03 Feb 2011 8:12 pm

Hi All,

We are hoping someone can help. We have a budget of 8k pm and want to know which are the nicest developments in either River Valley or Orchard. We want 3 beds and nice quality / space apartment. Good condo facilities and walking distance to good shopping / restaurants etc.

Any helpful recommendations on which developments we should favour would be gratefully received.

Many Thanks for anyone's help

8k pr month with all your requirements is rather not possible (esp. the part the BEST condo), but why don't you browse through the offers on this very website? You can choose the district, No of bedrooms etc.

I live at St Thomas Suites and love it. Walking to Somerset MRT (7mins) . There's a bus stop(at River Valley rd) nearby that buses will take you basically to a lot of places (4 different buses go by). I use the Plaza Singapura shuttle bus for free and it stop at the bustop nearby and go to Dhoby Ghaut MRT or to Tiong Bahru MRT. Beautiful swimming pool and great gym, and tennis court ect. Fairprice and Fairprice finest nearby. Food places are everywhere with a bus stop away.
The only downside is there's very few 3 bedroom apartment here.
Another one you would consider is The Trillium or Tribeca,it's not near MRT but it is opposite to Great World City shop. There's lots of buses go by there and also GWC have 3 shuttle buses that one take you out to Orchard Road every 20mins,Chinatown .It's at a lower rental price than St Thomas Suites.
Good luck

The Pier is a rather expensive place though great location, or River Place across the street seems to be very popular with expats and also a top location, plus 8k should get you something decent there.

Tribeca is a bit further up the river, closer to GWC, though I'd prefer to live closer to Robertson Quay than GWC to be honest...
