Sadness and relief

Post by ksl » Thu, 03 Feb 2011 3:15 pm

1st of February so the departure of my wifes younger brother aged 50. Last year it was her father...she left for Taiwan on the 2nd...So today my daughter and I will light candles and say a little pray, for all parents that have lost their loved ones, i'm sure there was many on that day too.

Life is so unpredictable, so remember to embrace humanity and love thy neighbours, but most of all enjoy the moments in your life, like they are your last...as we never know our departure date for sure.

So true, KSL, and condolences. One of my favourite verses, attributed to Mme Grifsters:

You gotta dance like nobody's watching,
Dream like you will live forever,
Live like you're going to die tomorrow,
And love like it's never going to hurt.

So sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, ksl. Sounds like your wife has had a very tough year.

Thanks k1w1,Yes its been a very tough year for her, but she's getting stronger knowing she is not suffering alone, but togther with thousands of others.

WIMH: You gotta dance like nobody's watching,

This is so very very true and if you don't, you don't know what you are missing, 50 to 80 years of life is so insignificant on this planet unless you are helping it!
