URGENT HELP: Info needed on the Sail @ Marina Bay

Post by Kaikala » Mon, 31 Jan 2011 5:02 pm

Just need some information from people who live at the Sail. We would like to have the floors re-polished to remove the scratches, but not at the management-quoted price -- w/c is very expensive! Problem is we lost the copy of the info on what type of wood it is, and who is the usual contractor.

can anybody here provide me the information? It is really a terrible floor finish, that easily scratches!

I have a number of other complaints on the inferior finishings used in the Sail, but i'll leave that for some other time.

Would appreciate the info

Thanks!

let me look up - meantime, did your flooring pop up ??

Atleast one of my friend's flooring popped up six inches or so, when he was away for a month, and when he came back, he couldn't even open his door - the whole flooring jammed the main door shut ..

thanks! anxiously waiting :)

our flooring fortunately did not pop up, but it does tend to peel particularly those often exposed to the sun.

and it gets easily scratched.

for a very expensive project, the sail's interiors seems cheaply made :(

My friend lost the details of the contractor who had fixed the flooring - he moved out a few months ago ..

Meantime, he did say he threatened to sue the owners, and they waived off his early termination ra-ra ..
