Hi,
as some may know I've been here a few years (3 1/2) and am now seriously considering going the PR route.
Business is doing well (2010 doubled 2009's figures), 2011 is starting off right and now I employ 2 staff (1 Singaporean and 1 PR) permanently.
I'm not gonna ask if it's the right time to apply as we all know the answer to that.
The question is, do I apply under the investor/entrepreneur scheme? I'm currently on the entrepass and with their p'ing around in giving 1 year passes out I'm looking for the long term now and future development of the business. Plus I'm looking to add a 3rd person in the 3rd quarter this year if all goes to plan.
I know the chances are there's a higher probability in rejection right now but even so I'm wiling to give it a go as it'll ad security for my staff, my clients and also me.

I believe you are referring to this page
http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=151 under Business Investor Scheme where you are applying thru EDB, yeah you can try this route if you have the YOY and Business Plan on going for you. You need to justify your Turn Over and Expected Future Earning.
If you are employing locals it all adds for you.
Go ahead , IMHO it does not hurt
If this fails, if you have the dough $1 million, this will speed up the process, if you are willing to place your money in SG
