It looks like we've found an apartment to stay in on River Valley Road, near UE Square.
Can anyone recommend any preschools/kindergartens/schools for my 3 year old?

I live in the same area and we're sending our 3-year-old to the Montessori Academy at Marina Square starting this Monday. It's a nice walk there along the river (you have to like long walks) though in the mornings it'll probably be easier to walk to Dhoby Ghaut and take the Circle Line to Esplanade (two quick stops).

Hey there - we live just off River Valley (Leonie Hill) and my 3yr old daughter attends Little Village on Grange Road - she is extremely happy there and they have just invested a huge amount into renovating the premises. PM me if you would like any more details!

Anyone else have kids at a Montessori preschool in Singapore? Care to share your thoughts?

It depends on where you are going to be living as there are so many preschools Montessori or otherwise. Many say they are Montessori but may do a mix of teaching, which personally I prefer.
Do you know where you will be living?
One thing I have found is there are wait lists at most of the ones I have looked at!

you can try wee care at friven and co or the thinking box at tanglin.
my 2 are at the thinking box. small place but really, really good.
my friends kid is at wee care - her kids like it. my kids didn't get on too well there, but are fine at the thinking box. think it's just a chemistry thing with teachers and kids!
just more options for you...
