anyone know the new hires will be under Finnair itself?or Adecco?
as i know Adecco is appointed by Finnair to hire cabin crew from all their destination in Asia such as hk...japan and bangkok.
however all the asian base crew are under Adecco contract which is temporary basis.
that means you may not get the benefit from finnair or they may not renew your contract......
i think this is not stable at all.
hope it wont apply to Singapore base.

Hi Mushroom,Mushroom wrote:Hi Hi,
Anyone know what are they looking for in the medical questionnaire? I'm currently a cabin crew and i remember choosing all the options that I'm healthy and fit to fly but i was REJECTED.. I sent email to ask Kristen and Tricia but no reply from them. I doubt they will reply too. Do you think height is a matter? Anyone that is only 1.58m got in?
Cheers.
Im in the same situation as you.The only thing I coould think of for rejection is either height or age.I met the minimum height requirement of 160cm but Im also not called for interview.I guess they want people who are taller than 160cm in actual fact, but again it could be due to my age.Oh well,I would not have passed the swimming test anyway.I couldnt swim although Im a cabin crew, haha!Still,I just hope somebody could shed some light on our rejection rather than keep us guessing so long

Swimming @ CSC
Hey..
Swimming is in fact, without aid, but it tests our comfortability in water, not the skills.. The pool is 1.8m at its deepest, you can walk or float at your own time own target..
This was what i had clarified but still puzzles me abit..
See you all if you are going to CSC on wed..
Cheers!

hi..Rougeberry wrote:Has anyone inquired on the swimming test that's happening this wed on the 9th?
i believe it's at Chinese Swimming Club.
heard that its on a 50metres pool at a height prolly betweem 1.6 to 1.8 m without a lifevest.
can anyone double confirm?
Thanks!
as for the no lifevest part I have heard the others talking abt it, so I guess it's true. If I am not wrong, someone has verified this with personnel frm Adecco, true that it's nil lifevest but have not heard if we wld have to jump frm a height thou...

yea..the thing is although i'm comfortable with jumping in water and being in it etc..i'm rather slow at swimming. so, i'm afraid they're particular abt it if we're supposed to swim at a 50metres distance. sigh~!
