Condo close to Chatsworth/Eton house schools, east coast

Post by Rowley17 » Wed, 26 Jan 2011 5:39 am

Planning to move to Singapore early summer from the UK and looking at the east coast as property rental seem to be lower. Idealy want 4 bed for ~6k p/m. Does anyone have any experience of the following condos:
Seaview,
Esta,
Cote D'azur,
One Amber,
Dakota,
Would love to hear your views.

The first 4 you've mentioned all pretty much next to each other in a good location. However there is so much construction work going on around them, at least 3 developments going up, that it will be noisy and dusty. On a plus side the rental will be less than it was a year or so ago.

not a lot of experience as yet, will move into a 4 bedder seaview apartment in 2 weeks time.

the lay out of the apartment we looked at in Cote D'azur was inefficient and appalling in my view (not sure if it was standard or just this apartment specific).

Seaview was slightly larger than the Esta, better layout for our needs, in about a month we will be family of 5 (3 kids under 4).

Because of the construction going on, rent is lower than in other areas. The plus for us is looking at the construction from our window will keep my 2 year old amused for ages (we are continually stationary at construction zones with me coxing him away).

We didn't look at the others mentioned.

Hope this helps a bit, I am looking forward to getting our own stuff and settled before bub comes.

Thanks for the info.

Any ideas how long the construction will be going on for?
