East coast international schools

Planning to move to Singapore from the UK early summer for ~2 years. Have 2 children (son aged 9 and daughter aged 7) and would appreciate any comments on east coast International Schools especially Chatsworth and Eton House. Thanks in advance as you can't beat personal recommendations.

I don't recommend Eton House for older primary years as it's not as hot on the education as the others. UWC good or Canadian in East Coast. Eton house friendly and good for little ones.

Our children were at Eton House for their primary years and it was fine - no problems with their education. They're in secondary school now and were not behind at all when they started.

The main difference will be that they may have to take Mandarin, but that will depend on the school - Eton H do Mandarin, but I'm not sure about Chatsworth East (in Chatsworth secondary they can do French instead of Mandarin but I don't know if that's the case in the primary).

Both schools are fairly simple and not flush with fancy facilities, but they're nice little schools - quite friendly. When you go and visit them, you'll get a better feel for them. You could also consider the Canadian school too (in the same area) - I'm pretty sure that's also IB so the education should be similar in all three schools.
