Curly hair, how to keep it from going frizzy?!?

Post by curly girl » Thu, 11 Nov 2004 7:45 pm

I have naturally curly hair, just past my shoulder in length, and need some advice from other curly girls on how to keep the hair tamed in this humidity.

I might have to add, my hair only curls up when it's drying (after washing), it's almost straight when wet, and goes more or less straight quite easily by pulling it into a pony tail or braid. I do like the curls, but in the humidity here, it has been really difficult to keep them either curly, or straight without going all frizzy or limp.

Any 'been there, done that' advice would be appreciated!

Well, 2 things you can do.....
1st to get your hair relaxed
2nd is to use a very good Moist. Shampoo and a leave in conditioner.
Otherwise with the Humidity yes! it is kind of bad to handle you kind of hair in Singapore.

thanks for the tips

i don't want to get my hair relaxed as i prefer it curly.

and i'm already using a moisturising shampoo and conditioner, the problem is that after the hair dries, the humidity makes it go frizzy. my hair is not dry (in fact, it's perfectly curled when i'm at home in europe where it's not so humid), but the humidity is making it frizzy.

so, does anyone know how to handle that?

I have bought 2 bottles of anti-frizz control from my hair salon, just take a small amount abt 20 cents coin and rub it thru the ends of the hair to keep the frizz away. It helps for me hair too, and non oily.

I can sell you one bottle at $10 if u like, retails at $10.

Please PM me.
