What's happened to FP?
Confucius was an insightful man . In the Warring period around 560 BC, when warfare was rife among the warlords, he grasped how to structure society and make the family unit a corner stone of stability in the old empire. He understood the need for social psychology. An old emperor used to moan, "It's much easier to rule an empire than your own family." That can't be exaggerrated in our modern days if we substitute work or corporations for empire. Moreover, with the classic FP firmly entrenched in families, would there ever be protests or mass mobilizations? And isn't this righteous establishment of society a model of secular democracy?

I've always wondered why the Bee Gees had to sing with high-pitched voices...

...anyway, SMS during the late 70's...what has been seen cannot be unseen.

Oh yeah, here's a clip of an old man dancing to lady gaga: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pEho5tqwfE

p.s.
I'm more a Motorhead/ACDC/Prodigy kinda guy, but I also am old enough to keep an open mind to anything else of quality.

As a kid the Bee-Gees were the butt of a lot of jokes, but looking back they were/are incredibly talented. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYmwGEAsz9I

Try karaoking it next time before you take the mickey  (maybe borrow SMSs pants first)

I'm more into these guys:

I'm pretty sure, they go off SMS's noisy charts if he finds SMS jr's band loud. :P

But I grew up with late 70's/80's music so that's cool...

I find Jr's band pretty 'loud', but also extremely talented. My thinking is to recall what ACDC, Motorhead etc were like in their late teens/early 20's... well, loud also, but I'd suggest not as talented as Caracal.

60' and 70' I am mainly into progressive rock (Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull etc.) but BeeGees are ok too. Travolta I rather prefer to watch in Pulp Fiction.

I listen to the Alan Parsons Project pretty regularly even today.
