According to the article, Singapore needs young immigrants

I'm 30 Male looking to relocate to Singapore.

Is this good news for me?
Or am I considered old?

This is nothing new. We and they have known that for years. But the problem is the man in the street sees that young immigrant taking their jobs so there is the current backlash against foreigners. This is going to continue at least until after the elections (sometime in the next 12 months - I'm betting by April-June and MS is going for June-Oct - we'll see ;-) )

So, no. It's not good news for you as most of "you" fall into that same range. Now it's not your age, but your credentials and general "suitability" to fit into Singapore that will be the deciding factors (and no, we do not know what kind of criteria they will be using for "suitability".

30 years is not old, but you have to be talented.
