Parc condo in West or Joo Chiat in East?

Post by SuSuP » Thu, 20 Jan 2011 3:55 am

Hi
My husband and I are coming to stay in Singapore with our 1 year old for 3 months whilst my husband looks for work. We are wanting to rent a Serviced Apartment and have found one located in the Parc condo out west.

Does anyone live here or know of anyone that can advise me as to whether it is a good place to stay. My husband will be busy each day and so my requirements are for things to entertain my son who is 1 year old.

We also like the local culture i.e. food stalls and would hope some atre nearby. Another choice of accomodation is out East at Joo Chiat where we have previously stayed. My concerns about returning there are that the facilities are limited for babies and would mean I would have to take taxis everywhere everyday.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated please.

Thanks in advance :)

Depend where your husband is working, best to get condo near MRT. Parc Oasis is not near to MRT and you have to take a bus to it

I think she meant The Parc condo along Ayar Rajah expressway, and not Parc Vista or Parc Oasis.

The Parc condo is a new condo. It is near Clementi MRT (maybe 10 to 15 min walk). I don't think it is a Serviced Apartment.

It is a short taxi/bus ride to some malls and the West Coast beach.

If you search the . website you will notice there are plenty of units in the market for rental. A 2 bedder will probably set you back $3500 or more a month. Is this your price range? If not, bargain hard.

Then again, you are only looking at short term rental of 3 months. Could be difficult. Not a property agent.
