Recommendation for dramatic cosmetic surgery

Post by bbabymilo » Thu, 13 Jan 2011 1:09 pm

Hi people. I have been to Taiwan, Taipei for a Rhinoplasty which includes narrowing nasal bone, tip, alar base reduction surgery. I am very upset and unsatisfied with the after result because my nose still looks the same as before! As if nothing is being done. :( The Taiwanese cosmetic surgeon who I have been to is too conservative. I have wasted my time and money ($6000 SGD) on it. :'(

I am truly disappointed in myself because I have to go round another round of pain surgery. But this time, I want to achieve a dramatic change after surgery which I do not mind my friends or family members to notice about it.
Currently, I definitely need some advice on some surgeons who like thin, sharp and small nose such as eurasians.

Try best in thailand for nose job , dr somyos kunachak, ear-nose-throat surgeon and cosmetic plastic surgeon..

or you can try dr pat from tokai clinic. hes a ear-nose-throat. he's cheapest, but good. if excellent is not what you want, you can go to him.

alternatively, try dr charan , who is one of the top surgeons in bangkok .

I have read up quite a bit on Thailand thread. It seems to be that Dr Puttisak and Dr Pat does produce drastic result. :) I may consider either one of them for my nose revision.

babymilo sad to hear from your disappointing results.

Which Dr did you visit?

Personally I like Taiwan's look the best as I find Korea and Thailand Drastic till the extent very fake like.

I like to have the maximum change that looks normal.

after surgery its best to wait about at least one year if not two years for it to stabilise.

from post 1mth to post 2years i noticed a diff as much as 20% reduction.

the most DRAMATIC nose jobs I have seen, were from Dr. Kim from BKDONGYANG.

I haven't seen another doc that could do tip width changes as much as Dr. Kim.

Hi bbabymilo, I'll be going to taiwan for PS soon at Wish Clinic. How do you find the skills in taiwan? Seeing that you're unhappy with the resultm, I am actually very worried.
The money for PS is 'hard-earned' from my previous part time jobs, and I really don't want to waste it on new looks that are not good enough. I will be starting school after the surgery, so there's no time for any correction or whatsoever. Should I change my surgeon or PS location? Do you think you or someone can advise me?

Hi jessie90

In my opinion, Taiwan cosmetic surgeons will not create a perfect nose on average looking patients. They prefer natural and subtle nose that suit on a normal looking face to a perfect nose. However, Korea plastic surgeons likes to use westerners form of beauty which is smaller, sharper and taller nose on every patients. If you are going for a natural looking and subtle changes, I think Taiwan will be suitable.

Personally, I think that spending so much money, pain, time and effort on plastic surgery, the result should be drastic and better.

Hi bbabymilo,

May i check which surgeon did your current nose?

How about checking out Dr Kao or Dr Hsu from Taiwan? Both are reknowned nose surgeons and the results are not bad.

Cheers.

Thanks bbabymilo!
I prefer a look like janice man's or dawn yang's (even though it can look fake) and high sharp nose bridge.
Right now im in the process of booking the air ticket, but I'm so hesitant. because korea's ps cost is so high. And thailand seems unsafe, and i might end up looking tranny, so taiwan's the most feasible choice.

May i ask which doc you went to?
