Hello,
I'd greatly appreciate opinions and thank you in advance!
We have e-filed for ROM and hopefully will be married by 02/02/11. We've been living together for more than a year and we've got both our names on 2 tenancy agreements (if that helps).
Myself:
- Female singaporean born citizen late 20's
- Professional salary exceeding the $2,500 requirement by ICA
Future Husband:
- Swedish late 20's
- Been in Singapore for almost 3 years now
- S-Pass holder, IT Professional (issued in early 2010)
- Currently studying part-time Degree in a local private institution
- Applied for PR once last year, and was rejected, no reason given
- Studied Diploma at a local private institution, student pass (issued in 2007)
My questions:
1. What are the chances of him getting a PR?
2. How soon after we are married can we apply for PR?

At this point of time, very low
2. How soon after we are married can we apply for PR?
1.5 - 3 years after marriage and if he is working in SG

Looks like it'd be years before I can live comfortably in my own flat.

Why not apply for PR on the grounds you are wanting to purchase your own property and start a family! He will also be liable for NS too don't forget!
