Family insurance

Postby Lady Z » Tue, 11 Jan 2011 3:58 am

We are a family of four, possibly moving to Singapore in September 2011. Any ideas what would it cost to have medical insurances for everyone? We are around 35 with my husband, son is 5 and daughter is 2. My son has asthma (high humidity is good for him :D ) and allergies (not severe ones).

Any ideas?

Do a google search for 'expat medical insurance'. What you pay will depend upon the coverage you desire, including geographic location, evacuation, deductibles, dental and maternity benefits, etc. A lot of the companies have online quote generators.

For international coverage contact the company Kwiksure (and do a search on this site as it's been mentioned quite a few times). Kwiksure will give you an overview of all the international insurance companies on offer with costs depending on coverage. Personally we are with Interglobal and they have been phenomenal covering our medical costs.
